Cross-country Farm

A fost super, merita sa incercati, daca treceti prin Sighisoara e la doar 10 minute. O experienta care merita traita, peisajele sunt minunate, si oamenii de exceptie. Cu siguranta vom mai reveni.

Wir, Thomas u. Claudia u. Andre u. Claudia waren in der 1. Septemberwoche 2008 zum Reiten auf der Cross Country Farm. Es war super. Zuerst muß ich die sehr nette, ehrliche u. familiäre Aufnahme erwähnen und das sehr gute regionale Essen. Die Pferde waren sehr gut trainiert, so das wir schöne lange Ausritte mit teilweise langen bergauf Galoppaden machen konnten, ohne die Pferde zu überlasten. Mihena hat uns professionell geführt ohne zu gängeln, so das wir als erfahrene Geländereiter uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Wir wünschen ihm beim weiteren Aufbau seiner Farm alles Gute u. kommen bestimmt wieder vorbei.

I first visited the farm last July and enjoyed some days of great riding into the hills surrounding it before leaving on the 5-day adventure/explorer tour to the Fagarasi Mountains, a real adventure, both challenging and rewarding, during which we crossed the hills of the Transylvanian Plateau and passed through atemporal villages dominated by Saxon churches.
Since then I came back several times and the scenery never failed impressing me, the change of colours in autumn and the snow in winter making it look different every time.
And the constantly mouth-watering meals offered by Tanti Anicuta along with the excellent riding services will make it impossible for anyone not to return.

I’ve known Mihnea since high school. His dream was always related to two things: horses and our beautiful country scenery. Cross-country Farm in Transylvania it’s just that: an incredible place where horses and nature come together to give you the most original and fulfilling riding experience. And did I mention the greatest food in the country? I’ll get back there with first occasion, there’s no doubt! Cheers.
