THE PROGRAM FOR ” ROMANIA’S HORSES” event, at CROSS-COUNTRY FARM club, Prod Village, 16 km from Sighisoara town.

Workshop Program 18/05/2012:
Day 1, 05/18/2012:
10:30 to 12:00 – Workshop of natural horsemanship, mixed styles.
12:00 to 12:30 – Interactive debates with the participants from the workshop.
12:30 to 1:30 p.m. – Lunch break.
1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. – Further training of natural horsemanship, elements of dressage at liberty.
3:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. – Free debates.
Topics:

1. Educating and training young horses.
2. Solving behavior problems.
3. Elements of training horses at liberty, romanian principles of natural horse training.

Participants can watch also, horseback archery training, conducted by Kassai school representative in Romania, actor Denis Stefan. No charge included.

Between 18-20 May 2012, riders from all over the world gather to compete in the heart of Transylvania, Romania. It will be a long weekend dedicated to equestrian sports and horse lovers, in an idyllic scenery, close to one of the best preserved medieval cities in Europe: Sighisoara.

The riders will compete in dressage, cross-country and show jumping competition. Last, but not least, for the joy of all riders and spectators we prepared a breath-taking show with Romanian stunt riders and their horses.

The event, Transylvania Horse Show, is organized by Cross-Country Farm  together with FEI (International Equestrian Federation) and FER (Romanian Equestrian Federation) and in partnership with AIEC (International Student Riders Association).

During the prize giving ceremony at the Belgian AIEC SRNC in Leuven the first AIEC SRNC (Student Riders Nations Cup) of the Year Award was hand out to Mihnea Virgolici, the organiser of last years AIEC SRNC Romania. The, by now, AIEC oldie organised a splendid Nations Cup last year combined with a CIC 1* ( FEI Eventing Competition) and a horse show – www.aiecworld.com

“This award honors us and makes us believe that we’re on the right track to transform Transylvania Horse Show in one of the best horse events in the region. We are proud that this award went to Romania and we intend to keep it! Big thanks to all dedicated members of organising commitee , horse owners, volunteers, sponsors, student riders, AIEC board, DOC and TDs , to Romanian authorities that supported this event and to all the great people that made it happened. December 2010: Cross-Country Farm is now also on facebook.

Autumn 2010: Hercule and Jenny got second place at the National Dressage Finals in their class. Perry and Luca got 4th on a National Eventing competition this also made them end on the 5th place in the Balkan Cup.

Hercule and Jenny got 1st place at dressage competition in Bucharest!!! After many months of hard training it was very rewarding to see this!!

June 2010; During haytime a orphan deer baby was rescued from the teeth of a fox, the tiny deer, also called Rudolf is now being bottlefed and has 3 lovely lamb friends to play with.

June 2010: During the early hours on 13.6 Requarna owned by Christine Moore got a dark baby stallion. Delivery went smoothly and both mother and son are well!
